Kamal Ganguly the first coach of Saheed Sporting Club was born on 10th January 1938.
Cricket coach Kamal Ganguly, who had produced a number of star players Over four decades, Mr Ganguly was associated with various cricket clubs of Orissa and produced several Ranji Trophy players.
Sidharth Das popularly know as NANU BHAI was one of the oldest player of Sahid Sporting Club.His contribution towards development of the club was remarkable.In a unfortunate incident he left us at a very young age.
Nanu Bhai's dedication towards development of cricket and Sahid Sporting Club is carried forward by his father Mr.K.C.DAS who is financing for the renovation of the club Ground.
In the memory of Nanu Bhai Saheed Sporting Club is going to organise NANU MEMORIAL CUP from 11th January 2014.
